Stan Wawrinka helped a lost kid re-unite with his, careless, father after thrashing Cristian Garin 6-1, 6-4, 6-0 in the second round at the French Open 2019.
While signing post-match autographs, Stan spotted the kid crying by himself. He lifted the kid up from the stands and onto the court, and helped locate his father, with the help of the security personnel, for him. The kid was reunited with his careless dad and Stan, in the process, enjoyed the satisfaction of a good deed and second round win – both on the same day.
“I tried to make him feel better, give him a towel and help him find his dad.”
Great stuff from Stan #Wawrinka after comforting a small boy in the crowd who had become separated from his father
